Problem: Considering data literacy as a necessary pillar for the execution of Data Science projects, the following question arises: what has been produced on data literacy and its intersection with Data Science? Objective: This research aims to investigate the scientific production relating data literacy to Data Science, within the context of Information Science. Methodology: The research has a qualitative-quantitative nature, of a descriptive-exploratory type, whose applied methods consist of a bibliographic review, bibliometric analysis, and content analysis. Results: The bibliometric analysis demonstrated the growth of the field over the years and presented a map of researcher collaboration. Content analysis, in turn, made it possible to outline a panorama of research on the topic and identify the most frequently addressed phases. Conclusion: The study highlighted where librarian involvement is already consolidated in the execution of Data Science projects and revealed existing gaps.
