Abstract
Objective: To analyze the scientific production on scholarly communication indexed in the Education Resources Information Center (ERIC) database between 2019 and 2024, identifying productivity patterns, thematic trends, and international collaborative networks. Method: A bibliometric approach was adopted, applying Lotka’s Law to assess author productivity, Zipf’s Law to examine keyword frequency, and co-occurrence analyses of authors and terms using VOSviewer to map relationships and collaborative clusters. Results: The findings reveal scientific production distributed across different international contexts, with productivity concentrated among a limited number of authors, the recurrence of specific research themes, and the formation of collaborative networks that remain only weakly integrated. Conclusions: It is concluded that, although scholarly communication has gained increasing relevance in the international landscape, the field has not yet achieved full consolidation, requiring greater integration among researchers, stronger institutional partnerships, and broader interdisciplinary dialogue.
