Objective: to analyze thematic patterns in scientific publications on the use of mobile devices in university libraries from 2015 to 2024. Methodology: a bibliographic review was conducted with categorical analysis of 43 articles indexed in the Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts with Full Text (LISTA) database, collected through a structured search strategy and subjected to explicit inclusion and exclusion criteria. Results: the analysis revealed eight thematic categories, with a predominance of studies on mobile technology-based library services and technological innovation. A preference for smartphones in internet access was identified, although laptops remain predominant in formal academic activities. The results indicate a transition toward hybrid service models and point to research gaps in user experience, accessibility, and technology adoption. Conclusion: it is concluded that the objective was achieved, confirming that mobile technological mediation is a central vector of digital transformation in university libraries, although its implementation faces structural, professional, and sociocognitive barriers.
