Author's Rights

Chapter I – Copyright

Art. 1 Authors who publish in Ciência da Informação Express retain full copyright over their works.

Art. 2 By submitting and having their work approved for publication, authors grant the journal the right of first publication.

Sole paragraph. The publication is governed by the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, which allows:

I – Sharing of the published content;
II – Use and adaptation, including for commercial purposes;
III – Provided proper credit is given to the authors and the journal, with a reference to the original publication.

Chapter II – Use of Images and Digital Media

Art. 3 Upon submission and acceptance for publication, authors authorize the sharing of images, videos, excerpts, and other elements related to the published work on the official social media channels of Ciência da Informação Express.

Sole paragraph. The use of such media will always include appropriate attribution and will be linked to the promotion of the journal’s scientific content.

Chapter III – Privacy and Data Protection Policy

Art. 4 By submitting their manuscripts, authors acknowledge and agree to the current Privacy and Personal Data Protection Policy of Ciência da Informação Express.
